The Cheesy Cashews Sour Sauce already used before in the Cabbage Rolls & Cheesy Sour Sauce recipe. I absolutely love it: it is creamy, it is sour, it is cheesy. Mainly it is delicious, wholefood and super easy and fast to do. All you need is 5 minutes and 5 ingredients.
In order to make it easier for you to find it, I opted to create a post where you could find the recipe alone, instead of trying to remember in which recipe was the dip used with.
Here’s the recipe:
Get all your ingredients: cashews, vinegar, nutritional yeast and sliced spring onions.
Put the ingredients (except for the spring onions) and a pinch of salt in the food processor and blend all except the spring onions.
After blending, add sliced spring onions and stir all with a spoon.
Serve it and enjoy this delicious cheesy cashews sour sauce!
CHEESY CASHEWS SOUR SAUCE
soy-free, lactose-free, plant-based (vegan), gluten-free
Level of difficulty: very easy
- 100 g/3.5 oz cashews
- 40 ml/1.4 oz of white apple vinegar
- 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
- 2 spring onions
- Add the cashews, vinegar, nutritional yeast and a pinch of salt in a food processor and blend it all. Use a bit of water to help to blend, until you have an even creamy sauce consistency.
- Add the chopped spring onions and mix well.
